Drink Green Tea To Lose Your Belly

Green-tea-bellyAccording to a recent study published in the Journal of Nutrition, drinking 5 cups of green tea every day can help you lose twice as much weight – particularly in your belly.

This may be due to catechins, antioxidants found in green tea, which are believed to boost energy and the burning of fats. Experts also think that catechins “may influence body composition in other ways.”

Aside from its weight loss-boosting capabilities, researchers also discovered that people who imbibe sports drink with green tea for 12 weeks had reduced their levels of triglycerides, a type of fat that is found in the blood that is associated to heart disease. When we eat, our body burns the calories it needs for energy.

The excess calories are converted in triglycerides and are then stored in fat cells for later use. Normal amounts of triglycerides are important for good health. However, high levels of triglyceride may increase the risk of developing heart disease. Very high levels of triglycerides can cause pancreatitis in certain people.

    Green tea will not reduce only belly fat, but it will help reduce fat all over your body. It has been proven that green tea is pretty effective in helping to burn fat, increase metabolism, and help the body.

    As for how many cups per day, everyone I know that has been using green tea has been doing 3 cups per day. The thing about green tea is that you can’t really harm your body by drinking too much of it.

    Green tea boost the metabolism which allows your body to burn more fat with proper diet and exercise.
